N70 processor speed / RAM

I currently own a Nokia 6600 and am shortly making my next move to the new
N70. As I haven't used any other symbian devices newer than my 6600 I don't
know what advances we've made in speed since (say versus 6680). What can I
expect from my N70?

I doubt if anyone can offer first hand experience on a N70 today. Your best bet at the moment is to look at the phone specs on the Nokia site ancd compare with the phone you have now.

i am not so sure about the n70 but the 7710 is just similar with 6600, or mayb a little bit better. but bear in mind that 7710 has a much bigger screen than any other phones!

Nokia 6600:
Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 104 MHz

Nokia N70:
Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 220 Mhz

I uppgrade to N70 from 6600 this week! 😊 It works great, but the main difference is the 2mpix Camera, 3G, radio and the stereo! Otherwise the size and functions feels similar...

How do these three stack up in a) stats, and b) real world (via some benchmark prog)

6600
6680
N70

I have a 6600 and was thinking about the 6680 but am now interested in the N70 but would be interested to know if in real life how it stacks up against the others?

i used to have the 6680, and upgraded to the n70.

from using the 6680 two month i find that both phone are alike. Speed isn't much a big difference..only thing i like about the n70 is that it comes with 35 + integrated memory and 65 explansion, the 6680 has only 10 + 64 expansion

if i were you, i would get the n70..reason being its different and much less bulkier than the 6680.

My reason for getting rid of the 6680 because Cingular released the 6682 to its costumer...I WANT MY PHONE TO BE UNIQUE! =)

A bit hard to be unique with any Nokia phone model as the company makes so many phones each year, and sells most phone models in the millions. 😉

~208 million phones made and sold by Nokia in 2004, and ~115 million phones already made and sold during the first 6 months of this year.

how rare is someone around u gonna have a fone that isn't released by a major phone service provider? example: before the Cingular bought the RAZOR, it was hella expensive...not many people have it..now most people i see around college have the razr cause Cingular sold them with plans..

with the n70, u can stand out a bit than the usual ..or until some company decided to buy it..i doubt it though=)

sorry for the off topic
