I need some seirious help with real one. It doesn't support mpeg-4 files so i downloaded smart movie. I tried to play a file and it says it need div4 codec... What are all this?? I need help... :frown: :frown: :frown:

The div4 (divX) codec is not available for S60 v.3 on the lonely cat games website...
in the zip u have UIQ, S80, S60... but no v3 😞
I just downloaded the .zip and it contains "Core_Mp4_S60_3rd.sisx" as far as I can see: http://www.lonelycatgames.com/download/smartmovie/codecs/coremp4_symbian.zip
the CoreMp4 codec zip file contains installation for S60 3rd edition.
but the XviD coded (including DivX and that dreaded Div4 "not found"😉 does not have installation for S60 3rd edition in the zip file.
Another free alternative to smartmovie is DivX player.
you must join stage6.com first and then download it from their site.
but still the problems remains as with smartmovie, there is a lag between the audio and the video... sometimes the sound comes first, sometimes the lips move first... but when I fast forward, or rewind, the sound and image are good for about 10 seconds, then there is a dephasing again?
any suggestions? i used to have HTC TyTN with perfect playback... is it the E90's processor? is it the player?
