Someone can tell me please ,how I can run Tom Tom Mobile 5 on my comunicator?
I Have installed the files in the memory card ,but I can not make it rum.when I try to open it in the main menu with the phone open
It displays the folling message:
System!
object not foud!!!!!
Its compatible with series 80 9300 end 9500 anyone can tell me how to do it run?

How about you buy the software instead of using an illegal copy ?
If you buy it, you don't have to "install" any files to the memory card, it's all pre-loaded. Oh, unless of course you're using the age old excuse of "I'm copying it to my larger memory card" !! 😡
This forum is not for discussing illegal warez. If you are bold enough to acquire cracked software, have the sense not to discuss it here. Ask the thief you bought it from.

It is best if you back the card up first on a computer, use winzip or winrar to copy the complete card to a file,
If the original version doesn't work, then the best option is to format your 9500, This is what i had to do, :frown:
If the original card works (Don't go throught the registration process), then when copying from one card to the other, some files must have not been copied,

I speak 8 languages fluently, necessary for my job that entails my travel all over Europe, so that covers your assumption that I need to get out more.
As for pointing out your errors, I have better things to do with my time than correct a flaming troll such as yourself.
I know TomTom very well (have you considered that I may even work for them ?) and this is a classic case of a warez user seeking help. I may be wrong but I'd be willing to put money on the fact that I am not.
Oh, and by the way, the Caps Lock key is on the left of your keyboard located between the Tab & Shift key. Familiarise yourself with it and learn it's use before "jumping to conclusions" 😊

So, in summary, please try TomTom Customer Service as your first port of call. I hear it is an excellent place for support of legitimate TomTom products 😊
I am interested in TomTom's newest GPS device http://www.tomtom.com/products/section.php?ID=99&Section=71&Language=1 as it seems to be the slimmest (15.1. mm) Bluetooth GPS device around. Just the slimness is the most interesting thing - no bulging pockets anywhere.
Do you have any experiences of it?

If you turn it off at 1 location and switch it back on in the same location and you have full view of the sky then it will get a signal lock resonably quickly, nowever..
If you turn it off and then turn it back on somewhere else, it takes ages to get a signal lock again, 5 minutes in some cases,
Also if you have a poor view of the sky, this will affect the re-aquisition time,
I have also experienced problems of it wondering, I was stuck in traffic and it decided it want to go off somewhere on it's own, it put me about a mile away from where I really was, it has done this more than once, :frown:
When it works, it works very well, but when you do something it doesn't like, it will throw a tantrum,

A little tip for anyone with a 9500 or a 9300 - don't try to buy Tom Tom Mobile 5 from Expansys, as they will send you only the version which comes on an SD card. This will not physically fit in a 9500 (obviously 🙄 ), and copying its contents over to an MMC (as they suggested) won't work, as the OS doesn't recognise the executable files.
Unlike Tom Tom's own online ordering form, Expansys provides no option to specify your phone type 😡 - they don't appear to stock any other versions. I'm surprised that they don't seem to have spotted this mistake - no doubt they will be getting quite a few returns (including mine).
