connect 9300 via gprs

hello,
just bought a 9300.I want to connect the phone as a MODEM via gprs to my home pc. The OS in my pc is win 98. Please suggest how can I connect the phone via cable to access internet. PC suite requires win xp/ 2000. I just want to connect to the internet without installing pc suite-as it doesn't support win98. Please suggest :frown:

Without PC Suite it probably won't work with the cable (unless there are Win98 compatible DKU-2 cable drivers to install). With infrared or Bluetooth it should (if you install the modem drivers for the 9300 or generic infrared/Bluetooth drivers). And, of course, for Bluetooth it depends on if you have a Bluetooth adapter and drivers for it for Win98.

N/A, thank you for all your help. After posting this question, I surfed regional sites of nokia and google. I d/l the driver for Win 98SE for IR, as I used to connect my 7650 with IR, and removed my 7650 modem drivers from the PC. There are good instruction manual in www.nokia.uk site. Followed the instruction mentioned in the manual, and I am able to connect with my N9300. 😃
However, the connectivity speed has reduced... My networks has upgraded to Edge, so logically I should be getting more speed... any thoughts?
If I switch to DKU-2, will I get a better speed? or are there any setting changes to be made on my PC? I use the same GPRS connection..

Thanks
