mp4 files - playing on other platforms

Hello,

I need to copy some mp4 video files taken on a P900 device - and transfer them to a Pocket PC device for playback. So far I have copied the files to my hard drive - but need some advice on a) if they will play straight off on a PPC 2003 PDA b) whether I need a third party player or c) if I need to convert them somehow.

...just tried to play a beamed file (from P110 to Ipaq HX4700) and it won't work....so I guess you will have to convert it somehow. P910 video files do play in Quicktime, so I don't know whether using Quicktime Pro would offer any solutions??
