Yes, it's magazine week here on AAS, with another plug for a paper publication of interest! This month's ('November'!) PC Pro has a feature looking at TV on the mobile phone, with a heavy emphasis on Nokia/Symbian handsets.
TV in your pocket
It's a nice idea in theory but as anyone who's ever tried to watch a full length film on a mobile (especially a Series 60) knows the screen is just far too small for it to be a worthwhile experience. If it's going to take off on any smartphone, it would really only be the Communicator line and possibly the UIQ series as well. Unfortunately, the majority of buyers for these two phone types are business users, for whom watching TV isn't a major concern.
