Today, about 30 minutes ago the vibrate function on my Nokia 6620 stopped working. My phone was leaning on a book on a table when someone call. As it vibrated the phone "fell" off the book to the table, which is about a 1-2 cm fall. After it "fell" it stopped vibrating but I could still hear the vibrate motor working. Now it doesn't vibrate at all. All I can hear is what I assume to be the vibrate motor working. I seems odd the the vibrate would stop working after a 1-2 cm fall. I've dropped it on to the floor before, about 1 m, and it was fine. Plus the phone is only about 3 months old.
Anyway, does anyone know how I might be able to fix this? I've tried turning it off and taking out the battery, but that didn't seem to help. Although it's still under warrenty and is insured by my carrier, I'd rather not have to go trough the hassel of taking to be repaired/replaced.
I hope you guys can help. Thanx in advance,

Sounds like the motor has come out of place and isnt touching the case anymore, your best bet is to get it repiared as there is nothing you can do until you open up the device. Though there have been stories of phones fixing themselves after a while but your better getting the phone fixed.
