help with firmware 15 update — Siemens SX1 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

I am trying to flash my phone and intall f15, I keep getting the error "the mobile phone was not found! (9). the sx1 drivers are already installed, since i have the siemens data tools, which automaticly installs the drivers (which means when I go to device manager, i don't see an ! beside the sx1 modem, it says its installed and is working) why is this happen, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thx

I actually got the program to see the phone, but now I get this error "you already have a more recent software version in your mobile! (2)" the software in my cell is 14, and i am trying to install firware 15, anyideas why i am getting this?

Hi. I had same problem.
After you download firmware update from Siemens you will also receive a driver, this driver you have to install. After that just follow the instructions about installation. It should be OK!
