Just got my QD, what should I check for/download/anything else?

You're pretty much stuck with the theme, the QD does not have themee support - best you can do is change the wallpaper on the idle screen. I;d grab some of the MMC game demos, we have an article about them.

pExtender or PaletteExtender.sis will give you 6 themes to choose from, one being the debug theme.

FExplorer is useful.
