Agile Messenger charging bug fix.

5 replies · 2,796 views · Started 28 September 2005

This is a very simple fix for the charging bug caused by later versions of Agile messenger.

Using FExplorer go into Processes > find the process called "AGILEAUTHSERVER " and kill it.

Now still using FExplorer go into C:\System\Programs and cut the "AGILEAUTHSERVER.EXE" file and paste it into C:\Systems.

You dont have to keep the file but i recommend you do just incase.

Well enjoy the fix......please give feedback whether this fix works or not or any problems u face.

so, Bhrij, tell us how long HAVE you been running the program this way? 😉

something new? lol

thanks for the fix - pure genious

Excellent, thanks a lot!

I had worked out which service was causing the problem, but hadn't got round to trying to delete the file 😞

lol......sorry guys.....but i have been running Agile like this for a few months now.
So its not something new

Sorry for the major delay in getting this fix posted....call it Time-to-Post delay.

Doesn't seem to be working for me. It will be loading for ages (trying to start AGILEAUTHSERVER.EXE I guess) then it will show me an error message and when I press ok it will shut down the programme.
