Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing issues regarding Bluetooth performance on their 6682.
I am coming from a 7610 (which is a Bluetooth 1.1 part?), and have only switched to the 6682 just recently. With my old 7610, I used ControlFreak quite a bit, as well as used the Bluetooth capabilites of the phone to sync my contacts on my computer via a Bluetooth dongle - one at work, one at home.
Switching to the 6682, I immediately saw my performance degrade. This was not only noticible in terms of the time it takes to sync my contacts, but also in the ability for the phone to send/recieve Bluetooth data at a constant rate. In ContralFreak, looking at spectrum analyzer view, I would get signal on the bands for half a second, and then I loose signal across the board for half a second. When syncronizing, or copying a file, I would notice the data would transfer in bursts of the same frequency as well.
I know that the 6682 is a Bluetooth 1.2 part, which is one of the many reasons that I decided to move up from my 7610, and I know that my BT dongle is a 1.1 part. Could this be the problem? Even if this is, 1.2 should be fully backward compatible right?
Let me know if you guys are experiencing the same thing!
Thanks!
