Dear All,
Thinking about getting of the PC ( had enough of Windows XP ) and want to get a Mac, probably an iMac G5.
What is general compatiblity with the P910i? Will the PC Suite work - never noticed if it was Mac comaptible or not. WOuld I have to use bluetooth? ( iMac G5 has bluetooth built in )
Also, what do folk use to sync with the calendar function. Mac will not have outlook, but I use Outlook at work?
Any advice gratefully received !
cheers,

PC Suite will not work with mac.
You need to use the built in iSync that will sync your p910i with mac's address book and iCal (calendar function). OUTLOOK is ENTOURAGE for mac and it doesnt sync. p910i is compatible with mac, see link below for complete list:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/devices.html
it will be a wise choice to switch to mac, i made my switch about a year now and i will never go back to Windows.
I am using Nokia N90 and unfortunately it is not yet compatible with iSync (manual transfer via BT only) and still waiting for Aplle to release an updated version.
Aarghhh ! Blank reply. tried posting - then the page came up as unavailable, and then clicked refresh and submit reply and it came up blank - d'oh.
As long as I can sync with ical at home and then sync with Outlook at work , that'll be ok.
Don't mind not being able to sync with Entourage, its the calendar functions I want to be to sync.
How does iSync work - it is via BT?
Any advice gratefully received, thanks.
PC is currently in the repair shop. Really have had enough of it after four years. Got an old G3 Mac Powerbook from about 1999 and it still works better than Windows XP.
iSync 2.1 works via blueetooth.
for your other questions, i suggest apple's forum:

Many thanks tsupa, just had a quick read through that forum, and upon first impressions, all teh posts on there comment on how easy it si to sync the P901i with the Mac.
Just need to convince my girlfriend that we need to buy the 20" screen version on the iMac G5...... 😊
