Your System Administrator (IT guy at work) needs to provision your email on the Blackberry Enterprise Server.

You should also look for your software version of the Nokia, I had 4.93 and had to update to 5.22 to get the Blackberry software working. Vodafone told me that there is no working with the Blackberry software with 4.93.

I have activated blackberry client on my NOKIA 9500 and since then I am not able to open web using GPRS, "it says GPRS service not subscribed to"
I had got my blackberry services activated last week in my NOKIA 9500 mobile number 9810014715 and the Black Berry is pushing the email and black berry service is working OK, but after activation of blackberry services, I am not able to connect to the Web. I had contacted Airtel Customer Care as well as Black Berry Helpdesk and they sent my Mobile Office Settings to my phone and these settings were saved and phone was restarted(hard re-boot by removing battery). Even then the problem was not solved and I was asked to goto TOOLS => CONTROL PANEL => CONNECTIONS => INTERNET SETUP = MOBILE OFFICE GPRS => EDIT => ADVANCED => PROXIES => USE PROXY SERVER NO = DONE = DONE = DONE = EXIT and restarted my phone (hard re-boot by removing battery). It still is was giving same problem when I tried to connect web through Mobile Office GPRS = it gave message that
GPRS: GPRS requested service option has not been subscribed to. Other connected points shown in my phone are AIRTEL LIVE, MOBILE OFFICE, LIVE MESSAGING and on all these options it is showing that GPRS: GPRS requested service option has not been subscribed to. Except for the blackberry connect point(when I select Blackberry to connect to web) it shows connected but not opening any web-site.

I again contacted Airtel customer care and they informed me that my GPRS is active and told not Please follow these steps to disable the Blackberry services:

1. Go to Messaging > Menu > Tools > Account Settings.

2. Select Blackberry and Click on Edit.

3. From the General Tab, Select "NO" for "Enable Service" and quit the Messaging application.

You will need to Enable the Blackberry services in order to send/ receive emails

BUT STILL NO LUCK WITH WEB ACCESS TO MY NOKIA 9500. Anyone has any Idea if it is WEB(GPRS) works after activation of Blackberry on Nokia 9500 in Airtel-Delhi

Hi Sunil,

I am in the UK. I dont seem to have problems with GPRS and Blackberry. Both are working simultaneously without any problem. But if you disable blackberry do you have web access? HAve you tries unsinatlling Blackberry and reinstalling again.

My problem got solved after calling several time to Airtel-New Delhi. Actually GPRS was handled customer care(121 number) and for blackberry they had (7070) number for getting both thing together I had to call both and explain everytime. I was tired after writing emails and calling them and then they deactivated my both GPRS & Blackberry and after 3 days they called me said now both things are working. It seems that it had technical problem from Airtel side as I had got activated Blackberry on my Nokia two days after service was launched. Now both GPRS & BLACKBERRY ARE WORKING OK.
