I was eventually able, after months of study, to write an OPL program which enable saving contacts to a TXT file.
The interesting thing is that, being it written in OPL, it should be compatible with any Symbian phone 😮 😎
I need some betatesters (and some... gifts! 😉 )

Does it work on series60?
And communicators?
Sounds really interesting :icon14:
Give me some time to test it out on my N90 😉

Which system is your phone based on? Which version of Symbian?
N90 is based on Symbian OS 8.1a and Series 60 2.8 a.k.a. "Series 60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3".
Just like the N/A said 😉
Operating System:
Symbian OS 8.1a
Developer Platform:
Series 60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3
Java Technology:
Web Services API (JSR-172)
Bluetooth API (JSR-82)
and so long...
Sincerely yours,
Apoc

"delete"???
I don't understand.
Did you install OPL Runtime for series60? It's required for my program to work!
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/opl-dev/OPL-OS61-030.SIS?download
I see just now that OPL development for Series60 is still in alpha status, so it's probable my program will not work. I suppose that, even after installing OPL runtime, you'll get a "not found" error (please report!).
Probably you'll have to wait for further OPL development for SycosLC to work on your phone. :frown:
I did it and it solves strange delete error / pop up but it doesnt help to get it work, I can even start it, it close immediately after starting

Looks like contact.opx extension has not been included in OPL Runtime for Series60; this mean that I will have to compile it by myself and distribute it together with my app to get it workin. It will require some more time, please be patient...
