N Gage Qd Sim Card Unlock Code

4 replies · 6,064 views · Started 01 October 2005

I have 2 codes for the n-gage qd that will unlock the sim card and allow you to use the phone with any service provider. These codes are for sale for 5.00 us dollars, I spent 10.00 on them. I will send you two codes. These will ONLY work with the Nokia N-Gage QD with the IMEI 010339000884288

Let me know if your interested, I've used this on mine and it works.

The codes are not to unlock the SIM card, but to unlock the phone. They are phone-specific and will not work on any other phone, so it makes no sense for anybody to pay you for them, because they won't have a phone that they work with (because you have the phone, and since it is already unlocked, the codes are not needed anyway).

You have no idea what you are talking about. This is to unlock the service providers code " that allows the phone to only work under that certain provider"
I have two n-gages and I used the same code on both and they work.

So you have a nice day!!!!!!

No, you do not know what you are talking about obviously. The codes for unlocking phones are SPECIFIC to that phone. You had to give your IMEI number of your phone to get the code, correct? Well, that code will unlock THAT phone. There are NO universal unlock codes for Nokia phones.

If a phone is locked, any SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card from the operator who has locked the phone will work on it. When the SIM-lock is removed, then any SIM card from any operator will work on the phone.

So, indeed, the service provider specific SIM-lock removal, or unlocking, code is generated based on the phone's serial number (the IMEI, International Mobile Equipment Identifier), and is specific for that particular phone (with that particular IMEI), and will not work on any other phone (with a different IMEI).

The unlocking code is not tied to the actual SIM cards' serial number (the IMSI, International Mobile Station Identifier).

The person with no idea of what's been taked about so far isn't me, and it isn't zektor, either. 😉
