maybe im just being very simple here, but is there anyway to delete all messages, without entirely restoring settings? i have like 1500 messages on my phone so i dont really want to go through them one by one.

any help appreciated.

thanks

Or else, u can use any file manager and delete the whole file--MAIL in the system.
Maybe it will be faster.
But remember to switch the memory in use of your message inbox to the other first before deleting (e.g if u are using phone memory, switch it to mmc)
I used to do that sometimes because i have approximately 3000 messages in my phone.

thankyou very much guys

I've forgotten to tell u if u wish to save your messages into .txt files, u can try to install a application called Message Saver.
Then, u can even read the messages in text format although u'd deleted them in future.
