bluetooth throughput on 7650..?

Hi there,

i have a stupid idea for a application, but this depends on how much throughput the 7650 can achieve over a bluetooth connection using the serial-port-profile...?

i know that bluetooth itself handles something like 700-750kbps, this would be more than enough for my needs,
but i'm not shure if this will be the rate i can get, 'cause when transfering images/files, whatever to/from the phone the speed is much slower... so i guess due to processing power or power consumptions, the bluetooth throughput has some limitations...

sooo... anyone every tried to send data as fast as possible over bluetooth from 7650 to a pc...? which rates did you achieve...?

Thanks for your Help!

In practice, you can expect to see transfer rates of roughly 30 kilobytes per second (ie. 240 kilobits) when using Bluetooth near the other device. As you move further away, throughput drops fairly dramatically.

so 240kbps is the limit that comes from the phone-limitations..? that's bad because too slow for my plans...

thanks for the help though!
