X800/X700 system codes

I've read about the **7370# and **7780# codes for resetting the phone (luckily haven't had to use them :icon14: ), but what about other codes?

I know some codes that work on Nokias, but not on my X800. Here's a list and maybe someone can update or extend this list for the X700/X800:

*#0000# or **0000#
- Software Version number (works on Nokia, but not on Panasonic).

*#06# or **06#
- Get IMEI (serial) number (works on Nokia, but not on Panasonic).

**2820#
- Get Bluetooth device address (this one works on my Panasonic).

[Pen key] - while turning on the phone
- No application is started during startup ("safeboot"😉 (works on Nokia, don't know if it works on Panasonic).

[Send key/Green key]+[3 key]+[*] - while turning on the phone
- Hard formating of the phone during startup. Very useful if phone can't boot up any more (works on Nokia, don't know if it works on Panasonic). Potentially very useful and I'd really like to know if there is a function like this for the Panasonic.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The Panasonic X700/X800 can be reformatted with **7370# (two asterisks in front!).

*#0000#, *#06#, *#7370# are all standard Nokia codes and are incorporated into Series 60, therefore should work on any S60 device, including the Panasonics and Sendo handsets.

*#7370* doesn't work on a Panasonic; instead, they (X700, X800) respond to - as mentioned above - **7370*

Yep, you're right on that one - tried a couple of days ago and it didn't work, which given how things have turned out, was incredibly lucky.
