I'm working on my first theme and I have a problem making a masked bitmap. The option mask in the right toolbar is disabled and when I edit the bitmap in photoshop the background of the bitmap is showen black. Can somebody help me how to make the backround of the bitmap transparen (not black), please?
Masking a bitmap
I've got the same problem in creating an analogue clock. I can't seem to appy a mask to face1 (the main clock face). The option remains greyed out.
I can however edit the mask for the date border. After I have edited and saved the date border, the mask option becomes available for the date border and I can mask it sucessfully. .. but the same is not true of the face1 background graphic.
I've tried reinstalling the application many times, with no effect. I've installed it on both Windows XP and 2000 with different Java runtime versions and it functions exactly the same.
Help!

Im not sure but on Adobe photoshop. Select the backround with magic wand and then press delete. Then i think that the backround is trasparent.
I can make the background in photoshop transparent but when I save the image
and the Theme Studio v2.0 imports the file, it's converted in .bmp format. So the
transparent parts of the image are lost and showen as black pixels. I've tried with
mask alsow but when I start the Theme Studio, it deletes the new files that I've
added. I think that Theme Studio is not very frendly application to use and I've
given up of making complitly custom theme for my phone. But if someone finds a
solution please post it so I can try again. 😃
