Nokia 6681 Music Player and ID3 tag?

Hi everyone,

I can't find an answer to my question anywhere online, so here is hoping someone would know here...

What version of ID3 does Nokia 6681's Music Player application support? The reason I am asking is that I am using iTunes 5 to rip my CD's and when I drag the MP3's I've created over to my phone, the Music Player can't figure out the ID3 tag information. I noticed that I can convert the ID3 in iTunes into v1.x and v2.x, but it seems that only v1.1 and below works. However, with v1.x, my song information gets truncated.

Also, does the Music Player application recognizes the ID information embedded into AAC files by iTunes? It doesn't seem to recognize my AAC file's ID tag info either.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

same as the 6680, thing is, it can read id3 v2.X just in the gallery i think cuz i remember it doing that to me, then once in the actual song, it only reads the v1.1 and if u have the 1.1 i think it also prefers it over the 2.0 maybe check the firmware status
