Hi guys
I hope you can help me. I'm in Sweden and I recently upgraded my A1000 and got a new CD of Desktop Suite. I was advised to uninstall the older version of Desktop Suite and then install the new one from the CD I after the upgrade.
I run XP with SP2. When I tried to install the Desktop Suite from the CD, I got a strange error message that can be translated from Swedish to English into something like " Class not registered" and then am unable to complete the installation. I suspect it might has something to do with SP2 or some setup failure to launch installation engine or something like that. I have not been able to get a solution from either Motorola or 3. Anyone who knows what might have caused this problem and how i can get a solution?
Thanks in advance

1. Did you make sure to re-start the PC after uninstalling the older version of MDS ?. If not, uninstall the MDS and re-start the PC before trying to install the new version.
2. I dont think SP2 is the problem, as i have installed MDS on SP2.
