6680, and the nokia image uploader..

Hi guys (n girls)

I hyave been a fan of the symbian based OS phones for a while now, hd a 6600, and that was cool, then i moved away from nokia, to test the water a bit..

a year later with my tail between my legs, i came back the nokias, and more specificially the 6688.

Now i bought the phone because on the nokia website it said "Image and video clip uploading to the Web" and i though that was the nokia image uploader, and it isnt.

The reason i want it so much, is i have a gallery2 installation, and with that, and the N.I.U, i can add pics straight to my gallery. Which means i can share my pics instantly.

I was wondering, after a quick chat with a guy in a phone shop, if its possible to identify, and copy the part of the nokia image uploader that is in many many other symbian OS versions, and transfer it to my phone?

Basiclaly i want it, and i dont no how to get it..

Can anyone help? :icon14:

Sounds like you might need PixoMat Pro.
I've not used it myself but the blurb says:

With PixOmat it's possible to publish your whole picture archive within a few minutes on your website. Just put your favorite photos together, choose your background color, your topics and upload your photos on your webserver then. PixOmat doesn't use a proxy or any internet photo service. It publishes the pictures DIRECTLY on your web space. So you have a full control over your picture archive on the WEB

The advantages of PixOmat PRO:
*The new PixOmat Pro has the feature to manage multiple profiles. So you can create one profile per website. In every profile you can define the type of the connection, background colour, font colour and the title of the page.

*With PixOmat Pro it is possible to rotate the pictures before you upload them to the server. You can rotate pictures to the left or to the right. That allows you to present your pictures in different ways

I have a copy if you want it.

Cheers,

Chris

hi, all this is all well and good, but its all a work around for the real problem im having.

can someone set my mind at ease, and tell me if the symbain OS is editable, so i can take the "Nokia image uploader" out of one OS and copy it to another?

i dont want anyone to do it for me (unless they'd like to) i just want this option, and wont stop till i have got it!

You cannot take ROM-based executables, move them to another device and execute them in RAM (load from storage memory).
