language problem...

4 replies · 3,905 views · Started 05 October 2005

yesterday my sendo x power off unexpectedly (think is a battery problem, it's old, but this is not the first problem)

when i charge it back and power on, the language on the phone is switched to english (before was italian)

now when I go in settings page Italian is set as phone language but english is displayed

if I try to change it, after restart, it display the language that I select (english, spanish, french) but if I choose italian or automatic i see english on my display...and in the settings page is ALWAYS selected Italian (so I can't select it when I change language)

any ideas?
some language file corrupt during the power off?

if you reformat your phone - and it sounds like you should - you will lose all the data you have stored (on the phone). i would recommend that you backup now and then reflash and reformat the phone. i would also recommend that you do not do a restore operation, rather renew your applications from scratch. you can synch your contacts and calendar entries with outlook.

Dont backup using a memory card..... backup using PC connect. Otherwise the " problem " will be backed up............. probably.
