😡 I have just bought an N Gage QD and have found for know reason the sound goes very quite (even on loud speaker). I turned off the Mobile and on again and it all worked fine. I also found that not only could i not here very well but when i was on voice mail, if i pressed buttons on the phone to access options it did not register. Anyone else herd of this? 😡

Hello wright.U seem messd,and u shd b aftr spendn yr hard earnd and its not workn.Yr problem is either hardware or sofware;first,i had a code that enhances your clarity of sound(but i have to track it down-gimme 60mins)called half rate codec but eats battery.Otherwise,to check if its sofware prob,u may need to format phne(punch *#7370# then default code is 12345) to restore z drive info.Wait for phne to restart(1st make sure batt is not empty) And yr phne SHOULD work,if after that it doesnt,THEN thats a hardware fault so if yr guarantee period aint ended u may need to go fight for yr rights-rodney king style to get yr phne fixd/replacd fr free.If they make u pay,pay then have yr boys visit the manager at home with baseball bats!Let me kno how it goes,good luck

I almost forgot!Before u formatt backup yr contacts(either manually write them out) because format wil ERASE All info added to phone aftr purchase(bye bye to apps & all yr sms txts)hope am not too late.Now let me check for that half codec code...
I do appreciate this mate, i was tearing my hair out! No, havent reset it yet! I guess i could just take out my phone sim and put the N-gage one in then reset? As i said it was odd, as after i tirned the phone off and on again it worked fine?

BREAKING NEWS;Just met a bloke frm our mini ngage community here and if i didnt know im bettr,id have sworn he was u for he has the exact same prob. With his ngage classic.We tried "my" method of charger start,that failed,and (so i bet that it didnt fr u,innit?)so did a host of others(leavin out battry for long,changn sim,mmc...)the 4ne wudnt go past the nokia logo(talk about a sleepn pill overdose!)til last resort was to take it for the infamous flashing.After 15 minutes 😊 &10 US$ 😞,technician handed us the fone good as new,save for well scratchd casing&pornclips on mmc(which isnt affectd wen u flash)he claimd prob was downloadn dodgy apps(warez or incompatible apps) to phne memory.Hope this helpd.Let me kno how it goes.One love.
Well I tried the master reset and that all rebooted fine! It seems to be working ok, even though I'm sure it went slightly quite yesterday, but I may have been imagining that! I'm going to stick with it for a while, see how it goes! Have you managed to hunt out that sound code yet?
