is webviewer spy software?

When trying to figure out the ip address of my phone( see http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4234 )I used webviewer to go the page talked about in the topic. It gave me some ip address that started with 209. something. However when I used my laptop to dial-up to my gprs network it gave me an address that started with 62. something. I thought that this was kindof weird. So I pinged the 209 address from my laptop with the -a switch, and it turned out the 209 address was: ca.reqwireless.com! the makers of webviewer. So my question is:Has anybody else ever noticed this and does it mean that reqwireless can monitor all the traffic generated trough webviewer, cause it seems all the http requests go through them. :agrue:

There's a diff thread on this very topic. You might want to check it out as well.

But the bottom line is..yes.. All Webviewer traffic is routed through them. It certainly is of some concern, but then.....
