RSS reader for 9290

You could try out FreeNews by FreeRange Communications. It's supposed to work on all Nokias (I'm using it on my 9300). It has its quirks but I can't find anything else to do what it does.

They offer a trial period so you can give it a go without commiting to a subscription.

Thank you very much. I have tried it some time back and I couldn't get it to work on my 9290. I am not sure if you can get one to work without GPRS???

Can't answer that but it should work if you can send and receive data on your network. Should work with any WAP phone that supports Java. Basically the news articles get cached on the Freenews server and the Java app gets the text only file from the server.

Try the FreeRange support forums if you're still having problems. They are very quick at answering questions.
