Wht does gallary take so long with a lot of files? — Nokia 6630, 6680, 6681 and 6682

On my old Nokia 6600 as long as i put images into seperate folders the gallery would load quickly. On the Nokia 6680 even putting the images in folders (60 a folder) it takes quite a while to load when there are over 100 images in total. Is there anyway of speeding this up or is this to stop people putting loads of images on their MMC?

Firmware is 3.04.11

My 6630 has 300 images in and it loads in a second or so. The secret is to leave it on the thumbnail view for a while, while you do something else. It can then build all its thumbnails and have them ready for the next time you enter the app.
