really need some help. I eventually have a sync working into outlook for everything bar the calendar items. Anybody any hints on what could be going wrong or what I should check

Could do with a bit more info such PC OS? Which edition of Outlook? Error messages?

I'm getting no error messages. The first time it just finished the I ticked full sync and it just starts initialising and does nothing (I took off all the ticks for contacts, tasks etc as these had transferred the first time).
I've checked the time and date and they are the same on the pc and on the p910i!!
its driving me crazy, do you know if there are any logs anywhere I can check bacause I've found nothing
On some editions of Outlook, there is additional security ,so on synchronisation, Outlook sends up a dialogue box telling you a device wants access and asking for permission (I've enclosed a screen shot). It won't sync till you say yes!
I've had this box hide before now, meaning I've had to "Alt/Tab" my way to it on the PC. Might be worth checking...

I had this same problem before with my P900 and now my P910. I've heard many solutions including making sure your have the latest service pack from Microsoft for your Microsoft Office but the answer for me ended up being that I needed to make Microsoft Outlook my default Email program. I had Outlook express designated as this before and it stopped the calendar from sync'ing. Doesn't sound like it makes all that much sense but it worked.
Go here: (Windows XP example)
Control Panel; Internet Options; Programs tab; and then select Microsoft Outlook in the "Email:" box
