I'm just startubg using this awesome machine but there is dissapointing issue that is making me think to sell it!!!!

The profiles application isn't working as it should. When i press "personalize" the application closes itself and the power button doesn't work anymore. The same happens when trying to assing a ringtone to a contact, the contact application when i select this option closes itself.
Please somebody help me, i don't really want to sell this awesome machine for this. My firmware version is 02.08.1 08-12-04 RM-12, think is "� little" out of date but since i'm living in Venezuela by the moment the local nokia center does not have the upgrade service available for this phone.
Please a really appreciate you help....

You definitely need to upgrade your firmware somehow...The latest firmware is v4.50 i think...But the v4.01 is also very good...It rarely hangs and the device is faster as well....
So that's a well-known problem with no reason? i got this after installing software and themes to my phone, By the way would you have the key for slovoed? thanks in advance

Well,why dont you try and remove the software from your device and then reboot your device and then try...That might solve the problem...Well,as for slovoEd,sorry dude i dnt have wat you require..
Yeah, i did it. I made a master reset on my device (*#7370#) but then i had to start installing all over again. I realized that the problem is back so i will have to start thinking of making a new master reset. Is very sad 'cause i didn�t installed weird software, the usual ones, let�s say pdf+, F(x), switcher and some themes. I think that the problem came with the themes. Removed all of them but still getting the same behaviour.
Is really dissapointing 'cause i think is a good machine but can�t say the same about it's firmware.
The other really dissapointing thing is that Nokia doesn't support this phone as Sony ericsson does with p900 and its update (on line) service that actually works. I have to wait for someone to travel to the US or another country where Nokia provides support for this phone so an upgrade can be made.
I really like this phone more than p900 but is not all about the product... Nokia remember the word "Service"

I just discovered!!!!
Please do not install a file downloaded from Emule called fx.zip. It installs the F(x) program but then your phone will start failling when you try to personalize profiles.

Just discovered something else about the problem with personalizing profiles. I thought it has to be with the software i installed but it seems to be a problem with the OS and the hability to handle memory or a lot of directories in My docs folder.
After a while i did't have this problem but today it returned back. The i started remembering what i did today, and what software i recently installed and started to remove them one bye one and at the same time testing profiles....
After a while i remenbered that i dowloaded to the phone a whole ebook in html format, that means a lot of files inside mydocs dir. I removed the last one and BINGO, profiles personalization and my power button functionality are back again!!!!!
The software F(x) installs a lot of directories in mydocs so i think that's what is going on
I have the first version and (the release version) cause i don't have support for this phone in my country. Hope it helps.........
