SIS file Problem

I am trying to use the data transfer feature of my new Nokia 6681 by using bluetooth to transfer contacts from my Nokia 6230 to the 6681. The 6681 sends an SIS file to the 6230. When I open the file on the 6230 I get a message saying the file format is not supported. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks

Sorry for the multiple post, but perhaps this is clearer: I want to copy my contacts from my 6230 to my new 6681. I understand that 6230 does not run Symbian OS. This is probably why I cannot open an SIS file I send from my 6681 that will supposedly install an application on my 6230 that will allow me to transfer all of my contacts from the 6230 to the 6681. The 6681 evidently has the data transfer feature--although I cannot get it to work as the 6230 does not seem to support the SIS file format. Does anyone have any ideas on the easiest way for me to transfer hundreds of contacts with multiple data entries for each contact from my 6230 to my 6681. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Correct; the 6230 cannot run .sis files and that's why the transfer app on the 6681 is useless (except with other Series 60/Symbian devices).

You could use PC Suite (http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) to first synchronize the old phone with a Windows PC (and Outlook or Lotus Notes/Organizer) and the synchronize the new phone.

Thanks, but I tried syncing my contacts with PC Suite from my old 6230 and then was going to send them over to the new 6681. When I backed up all of my contacts from the 6230 to the PC using PC Suite and then tried to copy them from the PC to the 6681 using PC Suite the file with the contacts on the PC could not be recognized--as it is in a format not recognized by the 6681. Is there anyway I can solve this problem? Perhaps by converting the file format once on the PC? Thanks for any help you can give me
