Hi everybody,
As said in the manual instructions, i drained the battery of my 7710. After the phone turned itself off i'm unable to turn it on again. I plugged the charger and tried to turn it on but it doesn't. The screen is always on (with nothing on it, just the white screen). The power button doesn't seems to work, it does nothing. When charger is unglugged appears on the screen the Nokia Logo, the first time i thought it was it, but it keeps doing the same thing.
Any suggestions? have this happened to anyone? i haven't found any threads about something like this
Please HELP!!!! and thanks in advance

Yes, the exact same thing happened to me with my 7710. Once the battery completly drains, thats it. To fix the issue, I was sent another battery from plemix.com, where I bought it, and the phone started right up.
Of course, I forgot and let the battery drain again so the phone was dead. I bought another battery from ebay, but I decided to get the treo 650 and forget about the 7710.
I'd like to sell it, but who is going to buy a phone on ebay that says "warning: do not let battery drain or the phone will be dead and you will have to buy a new battery". I didn't even get a months worth of use out it.

Hi verybody,
Here i come with some "good" news. The phone was dead for a while, i mean i couldn't turn it on but suddenly the white screen (after, maybe 1 hour connected to the charger) turned into the nokia logo and appeared the battery charging icon, that was a releaf.
I thought then about the manual instructions saying somenthing like if the battery is drained completely the battery charging icon could not appear for a while. Sure, that ""while" was near an hour but, well, at least my 7710 is working again and i might say is a fine phone.
Hope this help......
