Latest news from Nokia event in Barcelona: Habbo Islands and Shadow-Born announced

Although exact information from the Barcelona N-Gage & Next Gen gaming event is scarce right now, a few facts have filtered through, including the announcement by Nokia of two new games developed exclusively for N-Gage: Habbo Islands (which will allow existing and new members of the extremely popular Habbo Hotel community to interact in an N-gage-exclusive area of the Habbo world filled with tasks and mini-games), and Shadow-Born (a very very bizarre-sounding game which uses all aspects of your N-Gage or smartphone, including text messages, the to-do list, the calendar etc).

More information has been reported on non-English websites, but until we receive some direct English-language reports we'll try to refrain from guessing the meaning of the half-garbage that online translation software gives us.

the arena is filled with the news krisse..but still exact info hasn't been available apart from the press releases.expect a live chat in the coming weeks abt the new releases and info on them

FYI I'm arranging an AAN Interview with Shane Neville, the producer of Shadow Born (and the recently completed Rifts, among others) to talk about Shadow Born. Having seen some of the ideas he's able to talk about, and the vision he has, it's going to be so unlike anything else that it's going to be so revolutionary it's going to make PtG look like the forth version of a sports franchise title. It's just mind-blowing.

Yeah, it's REALLY good to see Nokia gaining confidence like this and trying to make a game from the ground up that's based around the N-gage/smartphones themselves instead of just imitating games from other platforms.

thanx ewan,he's a person who can give us some info on the new game(s)
