Hi,
I am testing an application which plays streaming audio. The audio player
module is executed in a different thread.
While testing with LowMem, the application does crash with a KERN-EXEC 3
under LowMem, problems I'm trying to solve.
However, at the end of the application test, LowMem seems to show 0% Test
Failure and 0 Memory Leaks. I am testing with a Nokia 3650.
My questions are as follows:
1) Does LowMem also attach itself to Child Threads? If it doesn't, then
isn't an essential testing feature missing?
2) In case of the above mentioned problem, is there is any specific way one
should go about testing
multithreaded applications for MEM-01 validity?
3) If such a scenario persists (0% Test Failure and 0 Memory Leaks but
visible panics and known bugs
exist in the thread), what response can one expect from Test
Houses?
