Hello:
Need to find out answers on the following questions to proceed on a personal project. Have read most the forum and have not found anything like this, possibly because these are simple questions and I am too much a newbie.
1. Is it possible to write in Symbian or anyone of its flavors (or for that matter, anything) that can turn any cell phone into a dumb phone, i.e. so we can use the cell phone like a regular phone?
2. Can I:
route voice data from the microphone out the AudioIn pin, AND
route voice data coming from the AudioOut pin to the speaker.
or
route voice data from the microphone out the AudioOut pin, AND
route voice data coming from the AudioIn pin to the speaker.
3. Convert keypresses into DTMF dialling tones, and routebthose tones out the appropriate pin, when the radio modem is in command mode.
4. Route commands sent from the microprocessor to the radio modem out the cellphone�s communication port, and not process those commands in the radio modem.
