The NGE is officially dead because the GBA and DS killed it. Gamers know a fub handheld when they see it and the N-Flop surely isn't it. Too bad Nokia's little taco couldn't even break the original GB sales.....

Do you know of ANYTHING that could have beaten the original Gameboys sales? The machine was around for 7 years before any significant changes were made to it. I'm not surprised about the fact that the N-Gage never got off the ground, but of the few games that were released there were some stonkers and they still kick ass compared to most GBA releases these days.
Chaos Theory, Requiem of Hell and Ashen are just three that spring to mind.
Still, i'm mightily pleased I own both. At least I can play the FF series on my GBA SP 😃
the only thing letting the ngage down now is the tiny screen but apart from that its a fantastic games machine.
