PC Suite 6.6 Bluetooth Pairing disconnects

Hi all.
I'm trying to establish a pairing between laptop and 6680 using PC Suite 6.6

I go through the "Get Connected" wizard everything works fine, confirm PIN on phone and Bluetooth connection is confirmed. However Bluetooth disconnects within a few seconds.

Initially I managed to use the backup tool successfully and it completed the task of backing up the Memory Card contents. Also I can successfully use the Windows Bluetooth connection manager to get a Dial-up connection to the Internet.

Bluetooth device is IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV
WIDCOMM driver version is 3.0.1.912

Am I missing something? Any tips or advice is welcomed.

Thanks in advance
Greg

Hi!
I had the same problem with my 6630! I use a MSI BToes USB device for the connection. I downloaded a new driver (WIDCOMM 4.0.1.2101) and now it works just fine!

Thanks for the tip. Just a couple of qualifying Q's before I consider upgrading:
1. Are you running WinXP Pro SP2?
2. Where did you download the new driver?

Many thanks
Greg

Can anyone else recommend an update to WIDCOMM driver 4.0.1.2101 ?

I'm using WinXP Pro SP2.

Cheers
Greg
