I have a GPS (navman gps 4400) bluetooth that i am trying to pair to my 9500. It has a passcode of "NAVMAN" but the 9500 won't allow me to type any letters as a passcode. Any ideas? I'm using firmware 4.22 I believe and am i nthe US and don't have any way to upgrade it

I doubt a 9500 firmware update helps with this. Can you update the Bluetooth GPS device (or change its passcode) using a PC or something? If not, I suspect you're stuck with two incompatible devices and need to change one or the other (to a different phone or to a different GPS unit).
