Hello all.
I purchased a nokia 6680 off ebay and I would like to get my firmware upgraded to the latest V.03.47.
I know i can't get it done here in U.S since the phone wan't purchased in U.S...
I had my sister took the phone to Taiwan, hopefully get it upgraded to the latest version. I just got a call from her saying that, they won't do it because it's not purchased from them.. They have V.03.47 software but they said it won't work since my phone is not purchased there.... I thought the firmware will work on all the Nokia 6680, doesn't matter where the phone is made...
I dont know where the phone was originally made, am I screwed? Is there a way to tell where my phone is made? I checked the box all it say was "Nokia Asia"
If you have any other tips, please let me know.... I need help.
