Symbian Signed regsitration broken in Opera?

4 replies · 1 views · Started 23 October 2005

I have been trying for a while now and the regsitration process doesn't
work. I am using Opera 8 as my browser.

After accepting the legal agreement I click to register. Page shows an error
that password is empty, even though it looks like it is filled in. Even if I
refill the password/s it again throws up the same error.

Anyone notice this. Any advice?

Thanks, AMK

I will ask the Web Team to look in to this.

AMK,

I've checked this with our hosting company. They cannot reproduce it. The

registration works correctly with my Opera browser (Version 8.02, Windows
XP).

Is it possible that the problem occurs because password fields and legal
agreement were never correctly filled in/accepted concurrently? At least
when I first try to send registration with some incorrect data (accepting
legal terms), and then correct the data and try to send registration again,
I get the error message if I don't accept legal terms again.

Is the password certainly valid, i.e. at least 8 characters long and
contains both letters and number/special characters?
<<

Can you provide any more info?

Thanks,

Phil

Thanks Phil,

Yes I made sure to accept the legal agreement everytime an error came up. I
may have not had 7 chars in my password. If so then sorry for wasting your
time!
