GPRS/WLAN not deactivating

2 replies · 1,311 views · Started 26 October 2005

I had to reformat my nokia theo ther day and have noticed that unlike before when I close an applicaion that uses GPRS or WLAN that it doesn't automaticly disconnect after a few seconds of closing all applications that use it.

Is there a setting somewhere to enable/disable this I don't know about? Becuase now i have to go to the connection manager to deactivate whatever wireless interent thing is on.

Hi, Necco
In Web, Ctrl + U will disconnect and you should check the idle tab under connections / internet setup.

I tried this and the option is disabled. It seems to deactivate sometimes after a few minutes but then if I try to establish a connection again it automaticly tries to connect to the last connected thing. (like a particular grps or wifi signal).
