6620 "select network" message ??virus??

I have a nokia 6620 on Cingulars network and for the last week my phone will constantly have a box on it that says " select network" after I click ok it searches for Cingulars network and then I select the network and the phone gets a signal. I get this select network prompt about 15 times a day, and when that box is on my phone my phone will not work at all (text messages, incoming calls etc...). I think I may have a virus on the phone causing this problem.

Also, when on the internet and my connection times out I used to get the message "web connection time-out" but now I am getting "web connection time-out (-190)" i'm not sure what the weird numbers after the message mean. Could someone please help with this problem or offer any suggestions for me. Thanks!

In the settings section, I think under phone, you can have your 6620 default to a network (eg Cingular) so it won;t ask this. It's NOT a virus, it's just the phone being helpful and asking which network you want to use.
