🙄 I have finally found the (correct ?)GPRS setting for vodafone on my A925. however , both the inbuilt browser and my downloaded opera browser show that the phone is "connected" but peversely do not show anything on the screen? Can anybody help ?

Definately something wrong with your access settings. Double check your settings. What typically is wrong is that you got a WAP access point rather than an Internet access point, which is needed.
If you have problem with DEFAULT GPRS connection, please visit this site, and download GPRS EDITOR, and install it and change default parameters...
