How can I turn up the volume on my alarm clock as the current volume setting is to low. Is the alarm volume independent of the ringer volume? My old 3650 It was great it would accend or increase with the longer the alarm went off. The alarm on my new 6682 just rings the same level which is rather low and sometimes It doesnt wake me up. Is it possible to increase the volume on the alarm without having to increase the volume of the phone call ringer?
6682 Alarm clock volume settings?
Set an MP3 as an alarm ringer.
Also select the Outdoor profile or a profile that has max ringing volume in it as that is what determines the alarm volume.
Failing that, sleep with your earphones in..
😊
The only problem with that type of suggestion you made was If I do that I have to change the silent profile to a audible profile. When I sleep I dont want any incoming phone calls to wake me up so I put it on silent profile. I was able to have my 3650 in the silent profile mode and still have the alarm audibly work and wake me up. IS there a way to do this with the 6682? also is there a actual way of adjusting the alarm volume on the 6682?
Would putting the phone in Offline mode work? Then you won't be disturbed by any calls during the night and you can still have the phone volume set to max for the alarm.
The phone doesn't have to be on for the alarm to work you know! Turn it off - it still functions even when the handset is off.
Another alternative is to make your own ascending alarm.
Get a favourite mp3, put it into an audio editor, something like Audigy, and apply an ascending volume filter to it.
Cheers,
