New S60 owner here. Got my 6682 yesterday and love it so far. I initially installed PC Suite 6.5 from CD and chose (stupidly) to sync name and mobile number only. I have since then upgraded to 6.6 and want to sync all details. I can't find this option anywhere, and in fact I don't even see a tab for "Contacts" on the settings window. I have even tried to create new settings. I have no done any sort of reset on the phone itself.
I'm using XP SP2, PC Suite 6.6.18 and the DKU-2 cable. Everything else seems to work fine.
Thoughts?
The 'contacts' tab was removed in 6.6. I believe the default is to synchronise 'all details'.
To get all your contact details on your device, first create a new synchronisation profile in Pc Sync, then remove your contacts from your phone (make sure you DO create a new sync profile in PcSync first, or it might think you want to delete the contacts from your PC).
When you next synchronise, you should get all your contacts (with details) synchronised to your phone.
Thanks, Ballman. That did the trick. I deleted all contacts using the Explorer-integrated phone browser (which BTW is much cleaner in 6.6). After creating new settings and doing a full sync, all is well.
