Nokia Communicator

I will be buying a Nokia 9300. I now own a 9110, great machine, once I bought it I did away with my laptop in most business trips. BUT i have problem before I switch:

I had to do reformat machine because it froze. I had installed a 8 mega memory card. Unfortunately I did not know reformating main memory of Communicator also refromats the 8 mega memory card and I can not now read any data. Machimne does not warn you about this.

My question: Does anyone know if the data is lost for good or can it be recovered by specialized recovery programs o specialized companies?.

Lost data was client info data; names, telephones, etc.

I will be happy if at least I could recover the data in any format that will allow me to read it and reenter it manually one by one.

I know, I know, I should have made back ups into the PC! I did, but lates back up is 3 years old and a bit stale.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP. I am pretty agitated about this.
