Whats with the N70's Keypad lights!? Mine seem to come on randomly after keys are touched. Would be a pain if you was in the dark tryin to ring a taxi or somethin! Is there some sort of setting to change this?

Yes I have notices this too...............has a mind of its own. Also when key pad light goes out screen becomes brighter!!!!

Could it be that you have had a finger or thumb covering the sensor causing the keypad to illuminate?

In the upper left corner in the front of the phone there's an ambient light sensor. How much light it gets or doesn't get affects whether the keypad lights are turned on, or not.
In other words, if the surrounding light is enough that you don't need the keypad lighted up, it isn't (= less battery power consumed).
