Hi,

do you know the purpose of the LED left of the "N70" text on the front of the phone???

I have not found anything in the manual...

...Alex

I am sure I have seen this led flashing blue on someones N70 and have read somewhere else that when in "standby" mode it could not be stopped from flashing.

yes there is a blue LED and it is there to let you know the phone is on when the sleep mode is active.

most annoying at night, so it gets covered now at bedtime.

there is an option in the settings to turn sleep mode off

Man, there's no such LED on the N70. Do you want me to make a movie of my N70 to see that?

It is a light sensor. As "whitfa" mentioned it, it controls the brightness of the keypad and screen to save the battery life.
