Nokia N70 Radio function

Hi

I have just purchased a nokia N70 and am extremely impressed by most of the functionality but there is something that is baffling me with the FM radio function. I am not interested in using the radio function but would like to use the manual radio to listen to radio 1/2, etc.

The problem is you can only listen to the radio when the headset is plugged in, even if you want to listen via loudspeaker. I cant start listening to the radio unless the headphones have been plugged in first, then I can change the output to loudspeaker. However, if I remove the headphones the output stops.

To me this seems like a rather large flaw. Whats the point of having a loudspeaker radio function that you need the headphones to listen to? Is this something that may have been / will be solved by a new firmare?

Thanks in advance
Stephen

It's mainly due to the fact that most Nokia phones have the antenna built into the headset. It's rather annoying that the radio refuses to work without the headset too. Both S40 and S60 have the same problem, dunno of any phones which don't need it.
