How to Receive Streaming Video on Nokia 7710

I purchased a Nokia 7710 in Finland last summer and have never been able to watch streaming video (or streaming audio for that matter) with it. I have gone to the Finnish YLE site (Broadcasting Co.) embedded in the viewer, but it is never able to make a connection. Nor does it connect with any other streaming video site. My ISP is T-Mobile (USA) and because they did not sell the phone, they do not support it. I have gone back to Nokia Customer Care in Finland and they state it is the ISP's responsibility, not theirs, to make sure that the settings are correct.

Talk about the devil and the deep blue sea. Has anyone been successful in getting streaming video to the phone? Does anyone know of any other video player that might work instead of Realplayer for this purpose?

First of all, have you configured the phone with the T-Mobile (USA) GPRS Internet Access Point (IAP) settings?

And do you have a subscription/plan from T-Mobile (USA) that allows full Internet access?

And have you asked T-Mobile (USA) whether they allow streaming services/protocols at all through their gateways?
