messaging:system error

Hey all,
A strange problem seems to have occurred as I cannot access my text messaging portion in my qd. I get the following error Messaging: system error.
I can access the mms portion but not the text part.Please ahelp me find a solution.

hey was able to rectify the problem
had to key in *#7370#.
and code 12345 and my set got booted and its fine now.
